shared life of Public Safety/Emergency Services? Veterans of Public Safety is a non-profit, charitable organization that:
Promotes and fosters camaraderie; Provides a local lodge for meetings, recreation and social gathering; Offers a peer network that understands and can share the emotional burden of the work you do; Hosts events, outings and competitions; Seeks out discounts and benefits and much, much more.
Or, are you an individual or organization that would like to help VPS support these public safety heroes?
Public Safety Personnel (often referred to as First Responders) are a unique breed of human beings that are willing to put their health and even their lives in danger to help strangers....often under the worst conditions imaginable. This work takes it’s toll on their physical bodies, their mental status, their financial status and often, their marriage. What is most remarkable is that they are willing to do this for pay that is much less than they are worth. Their only true reward is knowing that their calling and saving lives has made a positive impact on their community.
We at VPS think they deserve more. We are putting them front and center by providing benefits and services like the ones found on the following pages.
VPS uses public/corporate donations and grants to provide these benefits.
