Welcome current, retired and former Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, EMT/Paramedics, First Responders, Dispatchers, Aeromedical Specialists and Coroners!

Our Motivation: There are many parallels between military veterans and first-responder veterans.  They are both often called heroes.   Both have endured dangerous, traumatic and emotionally demanding experiences.  For military veterans there are hundreds of clubs, associations, charities, and military organizations that offer a wide variety of benefits that enrich their lives.    Just between the VFW and the American Legion, they have 14,000 locations across the U.S. to serve military veterans.  There is nothing like that for our Public Safety First-Responder Veterans.

 

Our Mission:  Service does not end at retirement - and support should not either.  VPS exists to ensure that no former public safety professional is forgotten - especially in times of illness, hardship, or loss.  Through meaningful programs, partnerships, and community support, we stand beside those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.
